So, we're getting back home. And this is our last Sunday here in Texas. And that usually means taking pictures. Pictures to bring back memories during our trip.
We had a great service and reminisce if everything we did was on God's teachings and laws. Today's lesson was great. Some stroke through. Some kept.
Prince invited us to have our lunch with the Infrastructure team. One of the team Prince handle. We went to
Dickeys. A BBQ restaurant that serve mainly (of course) barbecue. The setup is kinda like a buffet style but not like Great Wall.
Nope, this is aint like "
Uhmay Khan" we have in Baguio. Wait...am I spelling it right?
Anyway, yeah, we spent our lunch at
Genghis Grill again today. And this is our second time really. Last time we're here, Sei Wei
(sorry if I mis-spelled it again) joined us. We just went back because Hazel is drooling over Joey
(Hmmm...do I feel something just waved?).This is what they say in their website:
Genghis Grill-The Mongolian Stir Fry, is a build your own bowl, fast casual, Asian stir-fry concept. The atmosphere is colorful, lively, and a lot of fun! It's actually not a cuisine, but an INTERACTIVE style of exhibition cooking modeled after a centuries-old legend. According to this legend, 12th century Mongol warriors, led by the mighty warrior GENGHIS KHAN, heated their shields over open fires to grill food in the fields of battle!
Aside from the free breakfast, another amenity
Staybridge Suites have is a free dinner from Mondays thru Thursdays. The first few nights, we tried having our dinner at the hotel. The food doesn't taste bad for the first few days but after a while you will feel full even by just looking at it.
The usual food they serve are what we call "
damo-damo" (grass-grass? weeds-weeds? idk!).
Even if we travel, we still don't forget to go to Church. As members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, we still perform our duty - to praise and serve God. We go to church every Thursdays and Sundays. Since we were not provided with a car, we commute from work to church every Thursdays. During Sundays, the hotel shuttle take and pick us up at the church. Anjay sometimes joins us as well.
The photos below are taken one Thursday morning at the hotel lobby before leaving to work.

One of the amenities
Staybridge Suites offer is an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. Of course we tried this and had some fun. You will be surprised how water shows people's fears. Say for instance, Grex is afraid of going underwater. As well as the nastiest things where Anjay swam with only his brief...ONLY his brief. Also some expose like Anjay showed his feelings for Hazel.
Ok...this would probably be the best lunch I ever had during this trip. Having lunch at
Twin Peaks is great! Not only the food and ambiance are great but of course...the waitresses! Woohooo!
This is my third time here but every visit is different. Twin Peaks is located at 1700 North Central Expressway Plano, TX. So grab your keys and head on there. Too bad we will miss there lingerie nights starting February 5 to 15, wherein the waitresses wears lingeries as they serve you your food. Now, now, ain't that a treat!
Sometimes, some people don't need alcohol anymore to do some "wild things" in front of the camera.
January 18, Sunday. After
After
kumain, Anjay, Hazel, Grex, Ate Vangie, Ate Mai did what is expected...PICTURES!
Anjay and I had our taste of Thai Cuisine at lunch today. Along with Kuya Elmer Abenes and his wife, we had our lunch at Jasmine Thai Cuisine Restaurant.
Thai Cuisine are mostly spicy but sweet but not that spicy than that of an Indian food. Don't want spice? Then there are some thai food here that are not spicy. I ordered the Phad Thai Noodle Soup and the serving is huge.
Yep, there is such a thing. Wind Burn. And it sometimes can be painful. Especially when you're out in the cold without any face mask or something you can cover your lips or mouth.
In anatomy, lips are considered one of the sensitive part of our body due to many touch receptors it have. So it could be painful if you have this chapped and dried lips.
How to treat them? Well, putting petroleum jelly sometimes helps. Or using lip balms. There are some medication as well to keep your lips look inflamed. Ask your doctor about this.
We never saw this sign when we arrived here at TI SpringCreek until Gary Wheeler told us about the sign. Sometimes, there's this good feeling when you see your name posted.
Yep! I changed my TNT (Talk and Text) number and went back to globe.
I like the new one - the "Globe Tattoo Prepaid". This time I think I'm staying as long as I can.
Nahirapan pa akong maghanap ng SIM dahil ang gusto ko nagsisimula sa 917 like I used to have.
At Autoloadmax*
Kaso 'yun nga nawala eh.Here are some of the promos that I like and most likely pushed me to go back:
- No expiration of load. Usual prepaid load has expiration of 24 hours to 5 days to a month. If you don't use it all up by the time it expires, lugi ka. But by registering to IMMORTALTXT10, you'll have 50 text to Globe/TM and 10 text to other network and it won't expire.
- Call of 20 minutes for P20. Dito ako natuwa. Ang tagal ng 20 minutes kaya. With this it's like P1/min. 'Yan ang matipid!
- Internet and Signal Coverage. Mabilis ang internet walang duda. Hindi gaya ng ibang nagpapanggap na mabilis. Ang signal? Malakas.
Peace!
Opinyon ko lang po. Hehe!
I'm normally not fond of changing mobile phones frequently unless the one I have is nothing but a paper weight. So, after numerous research and lots and lots of thinking, I bought a new phone - Sony Ericsson C901.... and so far, I am liking it!
The photos I took from it was superb for a camera phone. The videos taken from this phone are not bad either. With its 5 MP camera coupled with a Xenon flash, every photo you take has that crisp output.
The phone package contains the standard set:
- C901 unit
- Earphone
- Charger (with socket adapter)*
- Manuals
* I think the socket adapter was given by the store so I don't know if it is really was included on the original package. I also got a free Sony Ericsson speaker. Great for listening some favorite tunes if you're tired listening through the earphone. And, oh, I also got a year warranty on the phone.
Here are some sample photos. The third photo was taken in pitch black with phone set to auto flash.
Here's the phone's complete specs from
