Mainframe
  • Cobol experience:  5 years minimum required
  • JCL experience: 5 years minimum required
  • IMS – DLI experience: 3 years minimum required
  • SQL, DB2 experience: 3 years minimum required
  • Java experience desired
  • Good English Speaking and Written skills required
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills required
Job Code Systems Programmer
  •  Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
  •  Effective customer service skills
  • Self motivating
  •  Proactive approach to work
  • Independent thinking
  • Process oriented
  • Good time management skills
  • Must be able to work in a small group environment and be able to coordinate efforts with other groups.
  • Experience with designing, provisioning, testing and supporting Mainframe applications like IMS, z/OS, DB2, MQ Series, RACF, USS, on Windows, UNIX and Mainframe
  • Performance Tuning/Monitoring via RMF and SMF reporting and WLM policy changes
  • IBM Mainframe Console Operations (JES2 or JES3 background)
  •  IBM Mainframe skills such as JCL, IMS, HMC, HSM, TSO, Netview, etc.
  • Assembler programming
  • Proficiency at dump debugging
  • Should have a working knowledge of DB2 and DLI databases

Additional skills that would be considered a plus for a candidate to possess:
  •  Programming background in additional languages
  •  z/VM and z/Linux background
Java Developer
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical degree.  A master’s degree in Information Technology is also preferred
  • With at least 5 years software development experience
  • A thorough understanding of a Development Life Cycle, including processes and methodologies required to successfully develop, test, implement, and support complex applications
  • Diverse experience utilizing Java tools in business, Web, and client-server environments including Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE), JavaServer Pages (JSP), and Java database Connectivity (JDBC) technologies. 
  • Understanding of multiple programming languages JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
  • Adept at building strong working relationships with coworkers and management. 
  • Talented problem solver able to think "outside the box." 
  • Good project management, project planning, and organizational skills 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
