I checked my old blog today.
Last entry was July 2015. That’s almost ten years ago. And the sad part? It wasn’t even something I wrote. Just an automated post from some IFTTT setup I did years ago. One of those “post your Facebook status here” type of things. No thought. No voice. Not really me.
And that kind of stung.
I started this blog with one reason in mind. To practice my English. I’ve always struggled with speaking it, especially when I really want to say something real. It’s like my thoughts come fast, but the words get stuck in translation. Sometimes, I just end up quiet.
But when I write, I feel like I can breathe.
I can slow down. I can think. I can finally say what I mean.
That’s what this blog was for. Not for claps, not for likes. Just a space where I can figure myself out one sentence at a time.
I don’t know why I stopped. Maybe life got loud. Or maybe I got too distracted to listen to myself. But reading through my old posts now, I remember why I started this in the first place. It was never about being perfect in grammar or sounding smart. It was about making sense of what’s inside.
So here I am again. Writing. After years of silence. Still awkward with my English, still thinking twice before hitting publish. But at least I’m here.
And maybe that’s a good enough place to begin again.

IOS9
After Apple released the public beta of iOS 9, I instantly had the urge to try it out.
So, after updating, went through the system and looked for any changes I've found.
First thing I noticed is the new system font. Don't know 'bout you but it looks sleeker to me now.
Also, you'll notice that rounded edge of the notification.
When you swipe from top and edit the Today notifications, you'll see that there is a "Traffic Conditions" that is included.
There are two new default app that will be included when you update to the new iOS 9 -- Find iPhone and Find Friends.
The app switcher has been updated as well. They call these "cards". The cards are arranged from right to left (most recent to oldest). The rightmost part is the home screen.
The compass app has also got some makeover. It now includes the elevation.
A new change is in the Mail app. It now includes the "Select All", "Mark All"' and the "Delete All" options. Nice!
In the contacts app, your contact card is now located at the top. The medical card is easy to reach as well.
Finally, the Notes app has included a very significant update!
You can now draw and do sketches. Hmm...it looks familiar (Paper).
You can also now put in photos, maps, and many more in your notes.
Battery now has its own section. It'll show you the Low Power Mode and Battery percentage toggles. It also shows you the top user of your juice as well as the time they are used. Yep, Facebook is the most hungry of them all.
When selecting a text, a subtle and cool animation occurs. Watch that cursor and bubble pop. And oh, by the way, have you noticed the keyboard? It now shows lowercase. It'll turn uppercase whenever the shift key is pressed or when it is a start of a sentence.
Siri also gets a makeover! She's more intelligent but still a snob.
We now have Handoff capability. Meaning any open app on one of your device can be continued to your other device.
Numeric passcode no longer limited to four (4) digits. You can now put in as long as you can remember. Alphanumeric passcode is of course still available.
New additional swipe option in Mail when sliding to left.
When you do screenshots, a separate album named "Screenshots" will be created. And oh, those who is fond of getting their photos, there will be a "Selfie" album too.
No, that's not a butt in there!
When you go to an app from another app, you will have the "Back to [app name here]" in the upper left corner. This will get you back to the previously opened app.
In the Photos app, you now see little thumbnails of your photos in an album so you can quickly scrub through. Very helpful if you have a lot of selfie photos. :P
Although not changed in the homescreen yet, you can see what the new calendar icon will be when you search "calendar".
Oooohhh...when you reach 20% of battery, iOS will notify and give you option to enter Low Power Mode.
Not sure about you but the Weather app not shows an animated state of weather in your current location. Darn it! It's pouring hard!
Maps is almost accurate from last time I see. The road direction is good now. Looks like we are losing trees here in Baguio. Looks pretty dry.
Sino po may contact na may tungkulin sa Clarkview, Pampanga?
What the heck! 800 bytes/sec ang download speed ng globe tattoo. Mukhang throttled down na.
